HVAC Energy Audit

In a hot climate, cooling is the largest part of most power bills. We measure how your HVAC system actually performs against its design, and show you which fixes will save the most for the money spent.

What is an HVAC energy audit?

An HVAC energy audit measures how much energy a cooling system uses and how well it performs compared with its design. It looks at chillers, pumps, AHUs, VRF and ductwork, controls and operating hours, then lists the changes that would cut energy use, with their cost and expected savings.

What the Audit Covers

Measured Performance, Not Guesswork

An energy audit is only useful if it leads to action. Ours ends with a short list of corrective measures, ranked by cost and savings, that your team or ours can carry out.

  • Chiller plant: efficiency, loading, set points and sequencing.
  • Pumps and hydronics: flow, pressure, valve positions and pump control.
  • AHUs, FCUs and ductwork: airflow, leakage, filters and coil condition.
  • VRF and DX systems: performance, refrigerant charge and controls.
  • Controls and schedules: operating hours, set points and BMS logic.
  • Costed action list with expected savings and payback.

Who It Is For

When an Energy Audit Pays Off

Building Owners

High or rising cooling bills with no clear reason.

Facilities Managers

An independent baseline before upgrades, retrofits or contract renewals.

Consultants

Measured, as-operated data to support design or retrofit decisions.

How We Work

How an Energy Audit Runs

  1. Collect data. Bills, drawings, equipment lists, BTU meter and BMS data.
  2. Site measurements. Flows, temperatures, power and run hours on the key equipment.
  3. Analyse. We compare actual performance with design and find where energy is lost.
  4. Report. A clear report with prioritized, costed corrective actions.
  5. Implement. If you wish, we carry out the fixes and measure the savings.
Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much can an energy audit save?

It depends on the system. Common savings come from set points, schedules, balancing and controls, which often cost little to fix. The report shows the expected saving for each action.

Do you need BMS data?

It helps, but it is not required. We can log the measurements we need during the audit.

Can you carry out the recommended fixes?

Yes. As an HVAC and MEP contractor we can implement the measures and verify the results.

Which areas do you cover?

We take on projects across the UAE, run from our office in Al Qusais Industrial Area 5, Dubai.
