Refrigerant Leak Detection & Repair

If your AC needs regassing again and again, it has a leak. We find it with electronic detection and pressure testing, repair it, and recharge the system correctly, so you stop paying for gas that escapes.

How do you know if your AC has a refrigerant leak?

Common signs are weaker cooling, an AC that needs regassing more than once, ice on the pipes or indoor coil, a hissing sound and higher power bills. A healthy system does not lose refrigerant, so repeated top-ups mean there is a leak that should be found and repaired.

What We Do

Find the Leak, Fix It, Charge It Right

Topping up refrigerant without fixing the leak only delays the next breakdown. We locate the exact leak point first, then repair and recharge.

  • Electronic leak detection on indoor units, outdoor units and pipework.
  • Nitrogen pressure testing to confirm leaks and tightness after repair.
  • Repairs of joints, flare connections, coils and refrigerant pipes.
  • Evacuation and recharge by weight, to the manufacturer's charge.
  • Split, ducted, VRF/VRV and package units.
  • Performance check after recharge to confirm cooling is restored.

Typical Jobs

When to Call for Leak Detection

Repeated Regassing

Systems that lose cooling a few weeks or months after every top-up.

VRF and Multi-Split Systems

Long pipe runs and many joints where leaks are hard to find.

New Installations

Pressure testing before charging, to make sure the system is tight.

How We Work

How a Leak Detection Job Runs

  1. Check symptoms. We check pressures, temperatures and the system history.
  2. Detect. Electronic detection along joints, coils and pipework to find the leak.
  3. Confirm. Nitrogen pressure testing where needed to pinpoint and confirm the leak.
  4. Repair. The leak point is repaired and pressure tested again.
  5. Recharge and test. The system is evacuated, charged by weight and checked for proper cooling.
Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my AC keep needing gas?

Because refrigerant is escaping somewhere. Refrigerant is not used up, so a system that needs regular top-ups has a leak.

Can every leak be repaired?

Most can. If a coil or component is too damaged, we explain the options, including replacement costs.

Do you work on VRF systems?

Yes. We work on split, ducted, VRF/VRV and package units.

Which areas do you cover?

We take on projects across the UAE, run from our office in Al Qusais Industrial Area 5, Dubai.
