HVAC Noise & Vibration Diagnostics
A noisy AHU, a humming duct or a pump that shakes the plant room is a symptom. We find the cause, whether it is imbalance, bearing wear, misalignment or resonance, and fix it instead of just covering it up.
What causes noise and vibration in HVAC systems?
The most common causes are fan or motor imbalance, worn bearings, misaligned couplings and belts, loose mountings, failed anti-vibration mounts, high air or water velocity, and resonance in ducts or pipework. Finding which one is behind the noise is what makes the fix last.
Fix the Cause, Not Just the Sound
Adding insulation or rubber pads may hide a noise for a while, but the cause keeps doing damage. We measure, find the source, and correct it.
- Fans and AHUs: imbalance, bearing wear, belt and pulley problems.
- Pumps and motors: misalignment, cavitation and worn bearings.
- Ductwork: rattles, drumming, whistling and high air velocity.
- Pipework: water hammer, vibration and noisy valves.
- Mountings and supports: failed anti-vibration mounts and loose fixings.
- Report and repair of the root cause, with readings before and after.

Noise Complaints We Solve
Residents and Tenants
Noise from rooftop or ceiling equipment disturbing apartments and offices.
Plant Rooms
Pumps and chillers with rising vibration that signals wear.
Hotels and Offices
Ducts and diffusers that whistle or rattle in quiet spaces.
How a Diagnostics Job Runs
- Listen and measure. We record noise and vibration at the equipment and where it is heard.
- Find the source. We check balance, alignment, bearings, mountings and airflow or water flow.
- Report. You get the cause and the recommended fix.
- Repair. We balance, align, replace parts or modify ducts and supports.
- Re-measure. Readings after the repair confirm the problem is solved.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my AC unit suddenly noisy?
A sudden change usually means a mechanical problem, such as a worn bearing, a loose part or an unbalanced fan. Early diagnosis prevents a breakdown.
Can vibration damage equipment?
Yes. Ongoing vibration wears bearings, seals and couplings and loosens connections, which shortens equipment life.
Do you fix the problem or only report it?
Both. We diagnose the cause and carry out the repair.
Which areas do you cover?
We take on projects across the UAE, run from our office in Al Qusais Industrial Area 5, Dubai.
